I fell in love with textile artist, Lori Marie when she appeared on My Favorite Show back in January. She made an absolutely adorable pet portrait of her lovable french bulldog, Matilda [shown above]. I may be a bit partial to this piece since I am godmother to an adorable frenchie myself, Lopan, but I just think it's so perfect! You can watch Lori and Martha make Matilda and Sharkie here.
Lori is a self taught textile artist from Northern California. When she's not working with Pottery Barn Kids, she's creating her own line of Pretty Little Things. Lori's creations are not only totally unique, but also full of personality. Every one of her hand made daydreamer dolls gets her own name and story. They are so cute with their bright colored mullets and hand-stitched tattoos. Her sleepy head owls are created by combining beautiful fabrics with amazing patterns and color palettes. Lori also has a huge selection of bags, totes, and panty clutches made with bright prints, vintage trims, and felt details. Every item Lori makes will tickle your cutesy bone.
You can buy Lori's 'Pretty Little Things' exclusively at her Etsy shop, with the exception of two stores in San Francisco, Lavish and Fiddlesticks. Lori also has her own Pretty Little Things journal where she posts her new creations and inspirations.
