Above is a beautiful print of a lovely painting by Jenny Heid. It is inspired by a little vintage doll named Charlotte. About this painting Jenny says, "Porcelain dolls figure big into our vintage collectibles and we just had to set them in a still life with our buttercream frosted cupcakes. Beside focusing on color and pattern, all these new paintings will serves as tributes to some of our favorite collectibles and inspirations. We literally filled a table top with inspiration when creating this piece...everything from lace doilies and tiny German doll busts, to sugar flowers and nonpareils."

Cool! I love that idea. I want to try to make something like that this weekend. I'm been looking for topics as interesting as this. Looking forward to your next post.
