I finally made myself a little etsy shop. I'm slowly adding things and I just posted my cupcake thank you series. Check it out, and if you want, buy a card or two! And keep checking back, I should be adding more and more in the future!

My BFF snowboard mag, 'Snowboard Mag' put my little glove on their Buyer's Guide cover. I designed the leafy pattern and script on this glove for Grenade. The pattern can also be found on a jacket and pants. Once I get my hand on this actual issue I'll be sure to post more! Highlight of my day!!! yay yay!

So this summer I had planned on really having time to do some personal art, but as usual freelance projects took over and I didn't get as much time to do that as I wanted. However, I did have time to paint a present for my two good friends, Joey and Laurie. They own my favorite little doggie, Lopan, and I wanted to paint them something to represent everything they love. I painted this watercolor featuring Lopan, the beach, the ocean, the mountains, and Philadelphia. I'm pretty proud of the way it came out and I think they were excited to get it!

So as I am supposed to be working on the 08/09 Roxy line, I was elated to see that the 07/08 line has hit the Roxy web. There are absolutely beautiful shots of the boards as well as the outerwear and riders. The boards should be in shops in Late August to September. Yours truly designed the graphics for the Envi, both Silhouettes, the Sugar Inspire, and the Roxy Girl board. I worked on these boards with the awesome and sweethearted, Miss Julia Carlson. Here we are at SIA in January. I can't pick a favorite b/c I love each one for different reasons. However, if you read the text on the Inspire, there's a list of things you need to do in life, and one of those things... Visit Delaware.

I was honored when my aunt asked me to design my cousin, Mikayla's, Bat Mitzvah invitations. I had so much fun doing them, and I'm so happy with how they came out. I created the envelopes, belly bands, card, rsvp card, stickers, and note for friends. I printed, folded, cut, and glued everything (with help from my mom and sister of course). I've never created anything on this scale before, 100 total. So it was definitely a nice change (but at times overwhelming job). Besides school I haven't done anything print wise in a long time. So even though I love designing snowboards and outerwear, it was awesome to design something so hands-on. We made a special trip down to Raleigh, NC to hand deliver them to my aunt and cousin. They were very happy with the outcome, so I was elated everything turned out well. It was well worth the time and effort. Making something fun for someone so special is what I started designing for in the first place!
I like making pretty things and I'm addicted to snowboarding and cupcakes.
